We believe in being your truest self. You know, that person you are at home when no one else is looking. The perfect composition, a beautiful sunset, the Icelandic waterfall...none of that can touch a photo of a genuine moment. That's what we strive for. REAL. We want to capture you in a way that total strangers can feel the love you have for each other. After all, that's what this is all about.

We'd love to work with you, but before you make this very important decision we want to get to know you, and for you to know us. Let us treat you to a coffee, craft beer, or just meet for a chat. See, we aren't just wedding photographers. We are “marriage photographers”. You may be wondering what that means. Well, when your day arrives we don't want to be just another vendor there to work a wedding. We want to treat it as if we were invited guests, thrilled to be there to celebrate the love that brought you to marriage. We are fully invested in all of our clients, so let's hang out before, and long after, you say “I do”.

I bet you're wondering what makes us different than everyone else out there doing photography, huh? Well for starters, we shoot everything on cell phones! Aaaannnd we also make frequent sarcastic remarks and ridiculous claims about shooting on phones. In reality we use Canons, not to be confused with cannons (totally different kind of shooting). Still with us? OK, great! Keep going!
Now, seeing as this is an 'about us' section, after all, here is some background. We are a husband and wife team based in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Ryan hails from the Buckeye State and Lacey from the Sunshine State. We met in the arctic north, aka Connecticut, while working for ESPN. After becoming great friends we began dating in the spring of 2011. Following a surprise proposal in Sydney, Australia on Halloween of 2012 we were married in October 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. We moved to the Carolinas in July, 2014 and love it here!

How much is peace of mind worth? Planning a wedding is a lot of work. It can also be a lot of stress. Your wedding day should be neither. You've put countless hours of thought and preparation into this day, a day that will come and go in a flash. When the moment arrives your focus should be entirely on the love you share with the person you are about to marry. The last thing you need is added stress that your day is not being beautifully captured. The first kiss, the smiling guests, the ring bearer crying in the aisle (because you know, he's 4), and all of the details you've worked so hard on deserve to be preserved. This is where we come in....
You spend your entire day with your photographer so enjoying their company is important. We do everything we can to make you laugh, smile, and feel totally at ease. An investment with us also means lasting images you'll be sharing for years to come (and we don’t mean on facebook). We really value print, which is why every package we offer comes with an album and print credit. Your wedding is a big deal, and deserves more than quickly passing through a social media feed. Long after the dress has been boxed, the gifts opened (and maybe returned), the freezer burned cake tossed out, one thing remains....the images. They are the only part of your day that will gain value over time.

When it's all said and done we'll have you back out to our place for another drink and to see all of your wonderful images! We will relive the wonderful stories of your day, one photo at a time. This is one of our favorite things, and we promise you'll love it too!

By the time your wedding rolls around we want you to be so comfortable around us you don't even notice the big cameras in your face all day. Leading up to the day we will be sure to have the timeline nailed down and every detail hashed out so you don't have to worry one bit about it being beautifully captured.

We'd love to have you out to our home in Indian Land, SC. We understand this can be a drive from uptown, but it's worth it. We'll share a beer, or maybe a coffee, and plenty of laughs as we take you through everything we do and explain why photography has such immense value.

ARE YOU LGBT FRIENDLY?
Like many of the other questions we receive, this depends on the package chosen. We LOVE engagement sessions though, and always encourage clients to consider one. They are a great way to hang out and get to know each other better. Beyond that, it's a great way for you the client to get comfortable in front of the camera so come your big day, there are no reservations, just photos you will cherish forever.
DO WE GET AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
Simply put, no. We are confident we can capture everything within the hours of the chosen package. Working as a team means we can split up and maximize our coverage. Extra hours can always be added later.
DO YOU OFFER UNLIMITED WEDDING DAY COVERAGE?
Depending on the package selected, the edited digital files (chosen at our discretion) will be included. Under NO circumstances however, do we give out the RAW files. (You wouldn't want the chef at a restaurant to bring the raw ingredients out to your table for you to do the work, would you?). Files aside, we value print above all so EVERY PACKAGE comes with an album and print credit.
